About Us
History
Dean Eichholz originally opened the Alaska Flying Network in 1983 as a branch of the Anchorage-based club, Aviation Network . Chip Versaw purchased the flight school from Eichholz in 1999 and has been the owner and chief flight instructor ever since. The Alaska Flying Network has been providing aircraft rental and quality flight instruction on the Kenai Peninsula for almost 24 years. Today, Alaska Flying Network is operated as a Cessna Pilot Center, with a fleet of two Cessna 152's and a Cessna 172 Skyhawk. In addition to providing flight instruction, Alaska Flying Network also provides aircraft rental, catering services, CATS testing and has a pilot supply store.
